Don't miss your opportunity to participate in the election.  If you are unsure of your registration status, need to update your information or are a first time registrant in Pierce County, there are 3 ways to contact the Pierce County Elections office and ensure your vote is counted.

  3. Visit the Pierce County Elections Center at 2501 S. 35th Street in Tacoma

Online and mail-in requests must be received by October 26, 2020.

New Fall 2020 Preschool Power Storytime Weekly Zoom Readings

Join Miss Bonnie for stories, songs, fingerplays and more.  The library building is closed, but we can meet online!  Reading, rhyming, singing, and talking inspire literacy and language development, the foundations of learning. Storytime is structured to help show parents and caregivers how they can help their child interact with books and develop early literacy skills, too!   Especially for ages 3 to 5.    Please register for the Zoom meetings to attend.

Virtual Book Club Selection: The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver
Monday, October 5, 2020 at 9 am

Book Club will meet on 10/5/20 at 9:00 am.  We will discuss Barbara Kingsolver's first novel "The Bean Trees".  We will begin with background information about the author and discuss the first 5 chapters of the novel.  If you have thought about participating in Book Club, now is a great time since we are just starting this novel.  Please register via Zoom to attend.

Book Art
Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 6 pm

Grab an old, expendable hardback book and join us for this fun craft.  Attendees will take an upcycled hardcover book and fold their own “story” into the pages through book art. Each attendee will get to create, through precise measurements and folding, a design into the edges of the pages.
