Parking lots are now open. Restrooms remain closed. Also closed are sports courts (tennis, basketball, pickleball), baseball fields, picnic shelters and the skate park. Available for use are trails, open spaces and the dog parks. The Puyallup Valley Sports Complex remain closed for all use.
In light of the governor’s orders and public health guidance regarding social distancing, Puyallup Parks and Recreation is taking the following actions:
These changes may remain in effect through April 26th.
In addition, the Pavilion in Pioneer Park is closed through the end of March. It is possible that this closure may be extended beyond March 31st.
Our staff members are handling a high number of phone calls, and we ask for your patience as we work through these issues. We will update our website as developments warrant.
We recognize that the Puyallup Parks and Recreation Department provides important benefits and services to the community, and know these closures, suspensions and cancellations will have real impacts. We remain in contact with public safety agencies and will continue to evaluate this ongoing situation.
